What is Managed and Hosted
Solutions:

Unlike premise-based systems that charge “per-active” port fees,
hosted systems can expand one line at a time and are therefore
subject to cost-effective per-seat licenses, charge only for
those actually configured for use.
There is also an interesting middle ground of “managed services”
wherein IP equipment can exist on the company premises (or in a
tenant’s building) if necessary, but it’s taken care of by the
service provider. It conserves the provider’s office space and
distributes much of the call control processing around to the
customer locations. Even though the equipment may not be
situated right inside the service provider’s facilities, network
surveillance and remote fault monitoring and various forms of
remote reporting and service management can keep the provider on
top of things and maintain both high availability and QoS.
Hosted Solutions Staying Ahead:
Business VoIP service is
constantly moving forward. The key to staying ahead is to have
access to the latest phone system features as soon they are
available. That’s why we’re committed to consistently building
the VoIP feature set.
You don’t have to perform
any special maintenance or system upgrades to receive the latest
updates. NuSound’s Partnership program with Freedom IQ can keep
you on top of the latest developments in VoIP PBX technology
entirely from remote, starting today with the features listed
below.

for both voice and fax calls. All voicemails and fax messages
can be sent as email attachments to the addresses of your choice
or accessed at any time through the web. Upload and send fax
messages through your WebLINK Internet Control Panel.

voice and fax messages, call reports, account information, and
more. Your employees can access their voicemail and change their
personal settings online.

outbound calls directly from your email. With one click, your

recipient. Pair with FreedomIQ voicemail-to-email delivery to
rapidly return missed calls.
Visual
Call Reports

export detailed call reports online with easy-to-read
spreadsheets and graphs. View the real-time status of your

Voicemail
Transcription

Freedom IQ &PhoneTag to bring you the powerful TalkText

calls your receive, whether for employee training purposes or to
protect your business against disputes and misunderstandings.
Access these recordings any time through your WebLINK Internet
Control Panel, or have them delivered to you as an email
attachment.
Cost Savings
As a
hosted service provider, NuSound does not require you to buy
on-site call switching hardware. Instead, your Freedom IQ VoIP
service is handled by our redundant enterprise servers from a
secure remote facility. This flexible design allows you to add
phones and features at any time, while avoiding the risk of your
PBX system becoming obsolete.
Telecommuting
A VoIP
PBX from NuSound can help you unite your remote offices and
telecommuters with your central office by integrating all
locations into a single manageable phone network with detailed
call reports. Employees can place, receive, and transfer calls
from any location as though they were in the same office.
In-House VoIP Support
Our VoIP
support specialists are located in our office located in White
Plains, New York. Each is rigorously trained and educated to
answer your VoIP- or PBX-related questions and assist you in the
configuration and operation of your NuSound VoIP service.
Call Quality
FreedomIQ
VoIP service uses proprietary call-handling architecture
developed in-house that has been repeatedly refined to cut out
jitter, echoes, and the other disruptions you may experience
with other VoIP providers. We accept nothing less than the best
when it comes to the clarity of your business calls.
Disaster Recovery
Local
power grid outages, equipment failure, and natural disasters can
all knock out a PBX system. At NuSound, we’re dedicated to
making sure your service remains uninterrupted by hosting your
VoIP service with high performance, redundant servers housed in
a state-of-the-art co-location facility. Even if access to your
office is compromised, your VoIP service remains operational and
calls can be instantly re-routed via the web.
